Serving Greater Houston since 1948
Connecting the local church to the child who needs Jesus.
We help churches across Greater Houston share the Gospel with children where they already are: in neighborhoods, backyards, schools and community centers.
The need in our city
700,000children in Greater Houston who are not in church
4,000churches in our city who can reach them
Every church has a circle of children around it: the schools, neighborhoods and apartment complexes nearby. We train and equip churches to reach the children in theirs.
Let’s do this!
Who we are
Child Evangelism Fellowship® has been taking the love of Christ to children since 1937, with workers in over 150 countries. Our passion is to evangelize children, disciple them in the Word of God, and establish them in Bible-teaching churches.
The Houston chapter was established in 1948. It became the Greater Houston chapter as the work grew beyond Harris County into the surrounding counties.
- Good News Club®A weekly club that brings the Gospel to children on their level, in homes, schools and community centers.
- 5-Day Club®A fast-paced summer club held in backyards, parks and neighborhoods.
- Truth Chasers Club™A Bible correspondence course that disciples children through the mail.
- TrainingClasses that equip church members and volunteers to teach children and lead clubs of their own.
